Hello! My name is Waring Harvey and I am excited to be the counselor at SHES this year. I am a native of Effingham county and look forward to working in the community where I live. I have been married for 12 years and have two daughters, ages 7 and 3.
My job as the school counselor is to best support students with academic, social/emotional, and career/college concerns. I look forward to meeting all of the students this year through monthly classroom guidance lessons. In these lessons, we discuss character education topics, self-regulation, career explorations, safety, and so much more! In addition, I serve as SHES's 504 coordinator.
