SRO
In an effort to enhance safety, the Effingham County School District has partnered with the Effingham County Sheriff's Office to provide School Resource Officers (SROs) at each school in the district. The SROs will be responsible for providing security and liaison services, as well as building relationships with students and staff. They will also be available to respond to any incidents that may occur.
The partnership between the school district and sheriff's office is a positive step towards creating a safer learning environment for all students and staff. The SROs will play an important role in deterring crime, investigating incidents, and providing support to the school community.
Effingham County Sheriff's Deputy Reale will be serving as Sand Hill's SRO for the 2023-2024 school year.
